Public Hearing Notice for Fire and EMS Study

The members of the Virginia Fire Services Board, Department of Fire Programs, and Office of EMS will hold a public meeting to solicit feedback on fire and emergency services in Washington County. The meeting will be held on September 30, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Board of Supervisors Auditorium located at 1 Government Center Place, Abingdon, VA 24210. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and offer feedback on fire/EMS in the County. Written comment may be provided by emailing the policyoffice@vdfp.virginia.gov
