A public hearing will be held on the following proposed ordinance by the Board of Supervisors of Washington County, Virginia, on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard in the Board of Supervisors Auditorium at the County Administration Offices located at 1 Government Center Place; Abingdon, Virginia.
An Ordinance to Amend Section 58-47 of the Code of the County of Washington, Virginia, to Exempt Certain Farm Equipment from Personal Property Taxation
Adoption of the ordinance would exempt certain machinery and motor vehicles used primarily for agricultural purposes from personal property taxation by the County.
